Matt currently serves as the Executive Vice President and CEO of Florida Citrus Mutual, the state’s largest trade association dedicated solely to the well-being of the Florida citrus grower. Prior to joining Mutual, Matt worked at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as Deputy Chief of Staff having joined the Department as Federal Affairs Director in January 2011. Before FDACS, Matt worked as a financial consultant and served as U.S. Rep. Adam Putnam’s (R-12) Chief of Staff. Joyner also worked as a Vice President at Community National Bank. Matt earned his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of South Florida and is a 7th generation Floridian residing in Bartow with his wife Kristi and four children Elisa (20), Annabelle (19), Mattie (16), Samuel (5). Matt is an Elder and Sunday School teacher at Bartow Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church and enjoys hunting, fishing and reading.
