Ezra: Restoring God’s People to Worship

How does God want us to worship him? We are created to worship God. Yet our independence keeps us from offering God worship that delights him.  Ezra tells how God restored his people to true worship. Worship that delights him and transforms us, as Jesus said: “True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him” (John 4: 23).
