Ephesians: The New Community of Christ. We long for community. But like porcupines in a snowstorm, when we huddle together, we hurt one another. Christ is in the business of shaping people into a new community for himself. He transforms people to inhabit his new community, the Church, by the power of his grace. This series explores the many ways in which we are transformed by God’s grace into his new people. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
